A Strong Sense of Community
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Fairmont's Anaheim Hills campus. Our P-8th grade school fosters
a strong sense of community--where parents, students, teachers and staff all work together to provide
our students a wonderful educational experience. We have a beautiful, well-equipped learning
environment with numerous outdoor fields and play areas, a multi-purpose room, cafeteria, half-court
gymnasium, separate junior high wing, several computer and science labs, and a new state-of-the-art
library. More important than our facilities is the care and attention our teachers and staff bring to the
important work they do of educating the next generation of leaders.
I am very proud of our highly qualified and committed faculty and of our diversified curriculum that
includes art, music, science lab, Spanish, and computer science, all taught by specialty instructors. We
have a strong academic record with some of the highest standardized test scores in Orange County
and many scholastic honors to our credit including holding both Accelerated Reading and Accelerated
Math Master School designations. The Anaheim Hills campus also has a tradition of athletic excellence
with many championships to our credit including recent titles for our Tri-Way boy's soccer team and
Developmental Sports League football team.
In keeping with Fairmont's mission, we offer many opportunities for students to gain 21st century
skills. Technology is fully integrated into our classrooms with students benefitting from interactive
white boards, tablet computers, student response devices, document cameras and more. Creativity is
encouraged through our fully-funded music, drama and fine arts program. Students develop character
and strong leadership skills through our character education program modeled after Stephen Covey's 7
Habits of Highly Effective People (at school). And we encourage our students to take initiative and put
what they learn into practice through extracurricular activities like our award-winning debate program.
Please feel free to attend any of our upcoming admissions events or schedule a personal tour at your
convenience. Once you experience our school for yourself, I know you will appreciate the enthusiasm
and love of learning that is present here at the Anaheim Hills campus.
